Dog Groomer/Dog Mom
I have been a dog Groomer for about 13 years.
Little after that I gained my first dog.
That is when everything began, Fenus is her name, Shihtzu is her breed, 12 years of age and a princess like attitude.
After her others followed, to make a total of “5”, yes! 5, now days only 4 remain with us. Dumpling aka The OldMan, was the first one to cross over the rainbow 6 years ago.
He was a Shihtzu too, he was best friend to Mario the worlds biggest shihtzu, before we adopted Dumpling we got Kelly, she is a Maltese, a very small Maltese. The idea of getting Kelly was to have two boys and two girls so they can keep company at each other.
company at each other.
This is all of them at Fort Lauderdale Beach
But a little surprise arrived a year or so after we got Mario, he and Fenus gave us a boy, Paco is his name.
He is Kelly’s best Friend and the wild kid every family has.
My Husband and I both worked as Dog Groomers, together we owned a grooming salon in Oakland Park, Fl.
Yeah, that’s where we used to lived. Now days we are located in South California.
Along with the vet assistant course I have obtain other certificates in nutrition for pets and energy healing for both humans and pets.
Now you may want to know what is this crazy dog mom/dog groomer writing about on this blog?
Well our journey as pet owners may seem fun for some to lookout, but in reality it hasn’t gone entirely smooth for us.
And that is why I want to share with some of you the stories, the adventures and the experiences we have gain during this time as pet owners/parents.
You can expect to find fun histories and a few sad ones others may be controversial and a bit scary but, we have a little of everything in our lives.
Why this ? I have found a lot of comfort on someone else’s blog, I feel like i’m not alone on this, by reading other person experiences, but I have some experiences with my dogs that could have been prevented or they could have been different,
If only I had known better, and that right there, is the big “why” I started this blog.
I have no intention on telling people what to do; but I do want to share what I did and what I shouldn’t have done.
Most of you can relate, when our dogs are sick we don’t think clearly, our head is cloudy, out of place, you could even feel overwhelm. I been there!
So, I hope you find something that can help you cope on certain areas of your dog life.
